For every Polish woman building something of her own
You run a business in the Netherlands
A salon, a practice, an accounting office, catering, training or an online shop. You are looking for contacts, clients and people who know what running a business in the Netherlands is really like.
You are just starting
You do not need a company structure, a team or five years behind you. It is enough to run something of your own or to be thinking about it. Here it is easier to ask someone who has walked that road before.
You work outside the Netherlands
Polish women from Poland, Belgium, Germany, Spain and the UK took part in the vote for the second Gala’s nominees. The laureates of the first Gala came from the Netherlands, the UK, Poland and Italy.
You want to support women in business
As a sponsor, patron or event partner. We promote partners for weeks before the Gala, during it and afterwards.
We connect. We build relationships. We create visibility.

Meetings and workshops
All year round we meet in smaller groups, where a real conversation is possible. For example Golden Ticket: a workshop day in Boxtel for no more than thirty women.

The Gala and awards
Once a year we put the spotlight on the women doing the most. Twelve categories, nominations from the community, a vote and a jury. The first Gala took place in Sint-Oedenrode, the second in Eindhoven.

Referrals
We recommend one another before anyone asks. The hairdresser knows the accountant, the accountant knows the photographer, the photographer knows a venue for the party. That is how this network works.

Visibility
Nominations, talks on stage and partner promotion mean that hundreds of women across the Netherlands hear about your business, not just your closest friends.
North Brabant and the whole of the Netherlands
Most meetings take place in the south of the Netherlands: in Sint-Oedenrode, Boxtel and Eindhoven. Women from all over the country and from abroad come to the Gala. Day to day we are on Facebook, where we announce dates and calls for nominations.

With heart. With class. With values.
One woman’s success takes nothing away from another
- Cooperation, not competitionBusiness need not be about who overtakes whom. It can be about who reaches out a hand.
- Mutual respectRespect for someone else’s road, even when it looks nothing like ours.
- KindnessGood communication and the ability to listen. Without it, networking is just swapping business cards.
- Supporting othersWe recommend each other before anyone asks. It is the cheapest and best advertising there is.
- GrowthEvery meeting should leave behind something that was not there before: an idea, a contact or courage.
- SafetyA space where you can say “I don’t know” without losing an ounce of credibility.
- Courage to act despite fearEach of us once started with a first step. There was rarely certainty, there was a decision.
Worth knowing before you join
What is Polish Businesswomen in the Netherlands?
A community of Polish women running businesses in the Netherlands, led by three entrepreneurs: Aleksandra Wajszczuk (Kuara touch), Edyta Pacholuk (The Witch Hair Academy) and Krystyna Rakowiecka (Sala Catering Boxtel). We organise meetings, workshops and the annual Gala of Polish Businesswomen.
Do I need a company to join?
No. The community is for women who run something of their own and for those still thinking about it. You need no company structure, team or years of experience.
Where do the meetings take place?
Mostly in North Brabant: in Sint-Oedenrode, Boxtel and Eindhoven. Current dates are in the event calendar on this site and on our Facebook page.
What language does the community use?
Polish. The Gala is hosted in Polish; this site also has Dutch and English versions for partners and guests from outside the community.
How do I get nominated for an award at the Gala?
You cannot nominate yourself. Names come from the community, followed by a vote and the jury’s decision. The call for the next edition is announced on Facebook, usually a few months before the Gala.
How do I become a sponsor or partner?
Write to us via the contact form. Sponsorship packages are put together on request, around what you want to achieve.
Come before you feel ready
The easiest start is Facebook or a single meeting. Write to us and we will tell you what is happening near you.
